HR Specialist CZ/SK

Role overview:

Support HR BL in enabling the CZ/SK teams to deliver profitable, predictable and sustainable Net Revenue growth by:

  • Championing positive employee experience that will drive the future performance of our company
  • Partnering to CZ/SK employees in daily people related requests to ensure legal compliance and professionalism creating positive corporate environment and building manager’s people capabilities
  • Representing MDLZ on the labour market to improve the attractiveness within potential candidates
  • Ensuring administrative support to fulfill local labor law requirements and cooperates with MBS HR and acts as a bridge between MBS and HR department in BU CZ/SK

Main Responsibilities:

  • Advice and counselling to respective managers and employees on a variety of HR issues, such as (but not limited to): recruitment, career counselling, team effectiveness & engagement, talent development and potential of team members, training, and labour law issues
  • Support Employer Branding initiatives, liaise with local universities or professional communities
  • Participate on internal communication in liaison with PR function
  • Project work and internal sessions and workshops facilitation, e.g. departmental engagement plan drive through the action plans together with department team
  • Onboarding process ownership - design/update the process in line with global and local requirements, ensuring the positive first-day experience for newcomers
  • Co-organize internal HR/Engagement activities, e.g. Growing Here Weeks
  • Supporting international and internal transfers – manager’s support, documentation maintenance
  • Documentation maintenance in connection with hiring, terminations and internal transfers - documents in paper form, hard-copy filing
  • Maintenance and updating of HR policies, documents and agreements in cooperation with other HR teams


  • Min. 3 years of professional experience (HR Generalist background preferred)
  • University/College degree (Business or Economics preferred)
  • Czech/Slovak language is required
  • Good knowledge of English language
  • Basic knowledge of Czech labour law
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Learning Agility
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
